Torque is one of the UK’s leading supply chain brands. Initially, they asked us to improve their monthly trade advertising in Drapers (Torque are specialists in fashion retail), a task we embraced enthusiastically. Subsequently, our brief has expanded to include all their communications materials and a new, improved website.

In an attempt to fully understand quite a complex, involved business (with a number of different stakeholders), we interviewed all heads of department and received some direct insight on what should (and should not) be included on the new site. The result is a much more succinct, logical site than before – one which reflects Torque?’s dynamism and fashion industry expertise.

The demand for simple, templated websites with CMS that’s easy for clients to update has grown, but it’s vital that such sites apply the brand’s values, tone and identity with care and consistency. Lots of agencies can build websites, but not all of them build websites that build brands.
